ATELIER EX LIBRIS
With the Atelier Ex-Libris, I invite you to create your own custom bookplate and materialize it in the form of a personalized stamp, ready to leave its mark. Each bookplate is born from an encounter, an exchange that allows me to create a unique and personal design. It's an inspiring moment, which invites you to reflect on what characterizes you and how to represent it.
I've always drawn. It's become my way of expressing what's in my head, without setting limits to my imagination. My studies in Art History at the Sorbonne taught me how to read images, understand symbols, and how art tells stories.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to illustrate the novel "J'ai Comme Du Coton Dans La Tête" by Farida Ouchani. I loved every step: reading the still unfinished manuscript, the meetings with the author after class, the first sketches of the main character, the hours spent drawing and readjusting according to her feedback, then the emotion of discovering the printed book. Since then, I have only one idea in mind: to draw other people's stories.
I found in creating bookplates a way to put my creativity at the service of your stories by bringing an ancient tradition up to date to make it a handcrafted, sentimental and meaningful object.
I can't wait to illustrate your stories!
